Resulting from A+UD’s Master Planning effort, the Marvel Freezer Reconstruction improved approximately 9,000sf of freezer space designed to enable future growth up to latest industry standards. New IMP systems and loading dock equipment will improve operational and energy efficiency in a market where operational costs are of the utmost importance. Once construction commenced, repairs were needed throughout the former freezer and coolers, requiring three independent design interventions and negotiations with the General Contractor. Phases I & II were completed in 2023 and Phase III was designed but yet to be implemented.
