In response to their continuous growth opportunities over the past decades, BH has been renovating and expanding their facilities in in Cataño and Dorado. After an evaluation of growth opportunities within the current Distribution Center, BH concluded that it was time to consider a new facility for the next 50 years. A+UD was contracted to complete a Facility Programing Study that included the site and facilities parameters for the potential selection of a property in the San Juan Region, specifically in the former Naval Station property in Sabana Seca. This programming effort provided BH with a strategic opportunity to mitigate and improve existing operational inefficiencies, lay the ground for future capital investments, and guarantee that a flexible framework is established to capture growth opportunities.
