During a 10-year period , key staff from A+UD were involved within a larger multidisciplinary team of consultants and agency representatives, in the management, land use/transit planning, procurement, architecture, urban design, and construction management of the largest infrastructure initiative designed in Puerto Rico. The project comprised a heavy rail system along 17 miles of fixed guideway with 16 stations connecting three contiguous municipalities within the San Juan Metropolis. A+UD also participated in the Multimodal Feeder System for the project, and in the proposed system extensions to Minillas, Old San Juan, Airport and Carolina.
